PAIN HELP!

I am 8 days out and in the worst pain! Its on my left side over my ribs! Can not lay down and can not stand straight. Anyone experience this before. Plus it hurts to swallow anything. Once it hits my tummy.. pain.

Any ideas on why this is happenin? I plan on calling thebdoc as soon as they open today.

Called the doc. She said it was normal. That my pain was brought on by me stretching and pulling something. My swallowing pain because its cold and it is spasming. So.. I guess I will be taking me oain meds, relaxing and warming everything before I swallow it.

I couldn't drink anything cold, and still prefer warm drinks even this far out. Cold + Sleeve = not good (for me anyway)

When you take the pain meds, be sure to take something for constipation (colase, MOM) because those pain meds will stop you up like a cork and that is NOT fun right after surgery.
