Hello everyone, I am sitting here waiting to take my last pre op class and being so excited and nervous at the same time. I have started my high protein and low carbs diet. This was a year long journey for because insurance had me go through so many test and etc to be approved. I want to say do everything the insurance companies ask of u so u can get the surgery . I am currently 5'2 210 pounds my goal weight is 140.

I am 15 days out. High protien, low carb, under 1200 calories starts tomorrow. Surgery is February 19th. I am not really nervous, I just wnat to get it over, and be done with it. Good luck with your journey.

Hands down, this is the best decision I have ever made for myself......don't regret one minute of it......the first few weeks are challenging.............but don't get discouraged............I am wearing a size 14.....well below 200 pounds (which I never thought I'd ever see again).............and life is good..............no..........life is great.........I am so much more active now, all my health problems have been fixed.......I love how I look in clothing......hubby is so happy to have his old wife back....and my journey has just begun......just know each phase of the plan is just a few short weeks of your life, and you can do it......wishing you all the best!
