I'm thrilled you are all doing so well. :tt2: Ellen you are amazing, you are recovering so quickly and this hospital treatment which also includes Hotel Visits OMG I'm definitely going there for my plastics and I will be going with a skip in my step having heard your stories. :cool2:Well done on researching and finding possible the best plastic surgeon in the world.

considering a Tummy Tuck myself, wonder does dr yummy take group bookings? can you have another child after a tummy tuck?

Your very brave I wouldn't have the neck to have anything else done, would love Lipo though. I'm not sure if you can have more kids after having a tummy tuck, probably wouldn't be a great idea I'd say because your skin stretches so much

Hey guys, im still here.

I dont have the time to post all the time but i have been keeping up to date on the thread. WTF is going on. ACS has been sold.........:confused2: What next. I didnt get any letter off them, in saying that my post is shite here.

Well I have to share my latest news with you all. I have been doing great, had a great hen weekend, came back in one piece and didn't get too drunk. Then just last monday I broke my toe from stubbing off my bed. IT was basically snapped in half. Went to the VHI clinic, paid them €180 only to be sent to Tallaght Hospital. When I got there I was seen straight away and they strapped it to the next toe and sent me home. They could have done that in VHI. Oh and I had to pay Tallaght €66 too. Anyway im eating rings around myself at the mo. I cant stop. Anything that will slide down im having it. I even had a bowl of coco pops the other day. WTF. And I cant do any exercise as I can hardly walk. Its just not fair. Im getting married in 7 weeks and 4 days and i hope i dont put on any weight. I have been watching the scales this past week and it has moved up a 1lb. I dont know what to do, im so bored. I went to a wedding on Friday and my heart was broke i couldnt even get up to dance, i love dancing i does. What am i going to do??????

Hi Alesha,

Only 7weeks and 4 days but sure who's counting.. The time has just flown. Don't worry you still have lots of time, why don't you get another fill if you're eating rings around yourself. That's the time to book a fill. If you have one done next week it will still give you six weeks before the wedding to lose at least another half stone or so. I don't know if you'll have to go to Belfast or if they'll have a surgeon in place by then in ACS. I'm sure your toe will be fine by the wedding and sure once you can dance at your own wedding isn't that the main thing.:tt2: I hope its not causing you too much pain.

As for ACS for the moment we have to trust that they will stand by their promise to see that we are looked after. What the terms are going to be we won't know until the new owners write to us as promised. I mean in all fairness, when Lu was stopped from doing the fills they arranged another fill site, albeit in Belfast but at least if we were desperate for a fill and couldn't wait till after Easter when they are supposed to have another surgeon/fill Dr in place. When that girl had the slip it took a while but they made sure she had the best surgeon in Ireland to repair her, with no lasting damage. I'm not trying to make excuses for ACS but maybe we should give them the benefit of the doubt, at least until the new owners write to us. I'm probably going to be slated by some of you for writing this but its how I'm feeling at the moment and I try to look at the positives where possible, there's no point in anticipating the worst. We can leave that for the papers, they are doing a fine job of telling us all how we are feeling, funny, I don't remember talking to Mr O' Farrell.

I wonder if we could get a group discount Lil and Coco! Would love a bit of Lipo and an eye lift!!!

Hi Holly, I wouldn't have the neck to go through with it I don't think, you see so many botch jobs:eek: I'd be afraid I'd end up looking worse than I am:scared2: Would love to get my thighs and tummy done, have to say I'm not as bad as I thought I'd be after the weightloss, thought I'd be much worse. I have loads of stretch marks on my tummy tho from the kids would love to get rid of them:blink:

Happy St. Patricks day everyone!!

Alesha: Sorry to hear about the toe. Sure, once you can dance at your own wedding, thats what matters. If your worried about not getting exercise, maybe just lift some weights (or tins of beans) while sitting down. Might help, maybe, dunno!!!

Ellen: Best of luck tomorrow. Hope you had no problem finding the candles and champers!!

Lil: Not making the parade does not make you a bad mother. In fact, a few years ago myself and my friend brought her kid (6) to a parade(not the main Dublin parade, mind you) and on the way home in the car he made us promise that we wouldnt bring him the following year or ever again. We were happy not to have to go again.

Thanks Elsie:thumbup: I brought my 8 year old to the parade about 2 or 3 years ago and he spent the whole time moaning about being, cold, hungry, tired, he couldn't see:mad2:............ need I go on I swore never again! I can just imagine what the younger fella would've been like today if I'd gone:blink: My folks were saints they brought us every year without fail.......hail, rain or snow and to McDonalds for a treat afterwards:drool:

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
