hi bubble . my niece is from bally connell in co, caven . she is going to brussells to dr. de brun to get banded on 11 september. she is getting the 4000 package, they are also going to replace my daughters band on yhat day. she got hers with acs who seem to have been very bad. the brussells group are trying to fix all there mistakes. you can email them at frederik.sernells@ecfs.be. he will be in dublin for band fills and appointment on thursday 4th sept. good luck

HI all, meeting in the great southern hotel dublin airport this sat at 12 noon in the lobby area, all welcome.

<p><p>i didn't have anything in my band when i got it done. got my first fill two months ago and didn't feel a hugh amount of restiction. got my second fill last week and now i can hardly eat at all. i only have two ml in my band. you'd be surprised the difference a ml makes.</p></p>

was feeling like that too untill i got my second fill last thursday. really working for me now. can feel the weight falling off. i eat what i like really just cant eat much of it.

that actually sounds quite rude what the waiters were doing. I went for a mea last night with my parents, both finished before me but we were left alone till i had finished mine. Don't have take home boxes here either but i find if you hold your knife and fork the whole time they get the point your still eating. as for ordering a drink with my meal i always do.

When you get the band you've no choice but to eat slow or it gets stuck

Hi all, I was banded last saturday and so far i've lost eight pounds, I'm finding it hard to eat much. I get hungry and then i eat but can only fit three or four spoon fulls in or a small petit falou. Reckon may calorie intake is about 500 calories per day. Does this kind of retriction pass?

Hi Chron's is usually in the intestine not the stomach so you should be able to keep your band, however you made need steroids or part of your intestine removed depending how bad.

Hey all, I'm three days post op, ment to be on liquids but i'm having soft foods. Can't each much of anything as it doesn't fit but just the taste is great. Couldn't handle a liquid diet felt to depressed. I know band is stitched in place so it doesn't move. Loosing about a lb a day so its working!
