How many oz are you able to eat?

I'm 3 1/2 weeks post op and I can tolerate around 3 oz of pureed food. Does that sound normal?

Normal, but try not to worry about how much you can eat. I stead, focus on the guidelines your surgeon set and get to know what the full feeling feels like so you learn to stop just before that. Truly, for optimal digestion, you want a bit of room left in your stomach or pouch.

Thanks for the advice. I feel like I eat too much but I guess that's because I'm full. My husband says I'm not eating much. I guess my brain and my stomach are trying to relate for once... lol

I am 10 months out so it's about a cup of food , but at your time. It was about 1/4 cup of food at the most , sometimes less ...

I'm over 8mo out and I'm probably close to a cup. Denser proteins I can't handle as much in volume. I think my pouch has mood swings cause somedays I feel I could eat more and then others a few bites and I'm so full I'm breathing heavier. Generally I'm probably a cup on a good day.
