Fitbit - force or flex?

Recommended Posts

I just ordered the Fitbit One, can't wait to get it. It has great reviews but it's not worn like a watch. Will let u know how I like it after I use it a while. That being said, my husband got a LifeTrak C410 & loves it.

Well, although everyone in town was out of everything I ended up at Target where they seem to be hoarding all the fitbits! After finally seeing them in person I decided to go with the flex. It's much smaller and I like that you can change the band. Thanks for all of your input.

I just got the flex yesterday. Bought it on Amazon for $57. Great deal and brand new. I was leaning towards the force but the band issues bothered me and because it is plastic, you can't hear it if it drops.

I have to figure out how to sync it with everything but it seems pretty straightforward...

I had no idea you can link the fitbit with myfitnesspal. I haven't been using MFP because of the fitbit (which I love BTW), but now I'll have to figure out how to link them so I can track it all :) Thanks for the info!

I have the fitbit one and like that it clips to my bra... No one knows I wearing it...

Its actually really easy but I think you have to do it from the website not the app. Its easy because I continue to log in mfp and it syncs up with fitbit automatically

Do you have a link to this deal? I'm seeing it for $93.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
