Have a few sips and wait a bit. That will give you time to adjust and know it won't go right though you. I am 9 months out and enjoy wine.

You should be fine.

Enjoy. Merry Christmas!

Almost 2 years out, tried some vodka in White Russian. Burned in my tummy, is now consigned to the cleaning fluid closet. Don't need it for a high, I am high on life and my new low gravity environment. :D

I have an occasional glass of wine with no ill affects. Sugar is my drug, not alcohol.

Mine 2 lol I just had a piece of sweet potato pie don't need 2 do that again 4 a long time 2nd piece 2day

Got a wine fridge for Christmas! I am 2 days pre op so won't be using that for awhile! I'm sad. Also got homemade moonshine.. My husband drank it. Sad again :( I will sit here and drink my unjury...

I am only 3 days post-op so wine doesn't even appeal to me. I would put ice the wine for hydration.
