Survive Gastric bypass pre op diet

Hey i am new here i going for my diet monday 12/23/13 i am trying to know what ia m going to do lol :/ any suggestions how to survive my 2 week liquid diet it will help alot i can eat up to 2 cups od veggies a day but i am not into veggies at all please help .. my surgery day is 01.06.14 i am soo exited

Hey...I just started my 2 week diet today! I drank my protein drink for breakfast. It was kind of gross but there's 40g of protein so I actually feel really full! I was told I can have a small meal like weight watchers or lean cuisine for dinner. We can help each other through this!

You just have to suck it up and do it. There's no easy way. Make sure you're getting all the protein you're supposed to get. Keep something with you to drink all the time. If you get hungry drink something immediately (broth and hot tea worked best for my hunger pains). Savor every bite of the veggies, so many of us couldn't even have a bite! The first 4-5 days are miserable. You're exhausted, grumpy, headachy....but it does get better and in the end it is SO worth it! You can do this, trust in yourself.
