Hiatal Hernia with Band Slippage

I have a hiatal hernia and band slippage. I don't want to give up my lap band but the hiatal hernia is big and needs to be repaired also. I need to see a doctor that know how to fix these two issues and I don't know where to begin because a local doctor told "no" I could never have a lap band again, So Three questions: I need help finding a good doctor, can I get a hiatal hernia and lap band slippage fix all at the same time?

Unfortunately, there is no way we can answer your question. We're not doctors.

If I were you, I'd find a surgeon who does both bariatric surgery and general surgery and ask him. Only he/she could answer your question.

Im sorry that happened. Call your insurance Co and ask for Bariatric docs in your network. If self pay look up same in you surrounding area. It doesn't hurt to ask questions so call and ask if he/she does that kind of repair. Good luck and prayers it goes well for you. I have a little hiatal hernia too but it was known before surgery.
