My350z06, Wow! What an accomplishment! You really do look wonderful. If you don't mind sharing, what were some of your victories and challenges over the last year?

I treated my sleeve as a "tool". The first six months was pretty much a trial and error situation. I stuck to the rules given to me by my Dr and then slowly started experimenting new foods. Protein PROTEIN PROTEIN. I know it sucks but it was a staple in my diet for the first eight months. As I was able to eat more food I stuck to straight solid protein and cut back on the shakes. Don't waste your time on carbs or bread because there is no value in it and it just fills you up. Portion size is key. My body told me what my limit was and when I felt that I stopped eating. I am not proud of this but I haven't stepped on foot in a gym. My career keeps me active which helped out. I am a strong believer that you want to have a better life and be healthier in order for this to work.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
