I am healin up well, except for a nasty rash where the tape was. My surgeon knows about it, and I am just taking benadryl and topical cremes. Anybody else been through it and found a good product to use? Just wondering....will be glad when this part is over.

My weight loss has "stopped", but I have been told that is normal untiil the first fill or at least you won't experience huge losses until then. I am just going to try to make good choices and not worry about that for now....got to deal with this rash first!

I wasn't allergic to the glue, but there are some surgical tapes that I was allergic to and like you I didn't find out until I had surgery. Not this particular surgery but others I have had to have over the years.

The best thing is really taking the benedryl or what ever antihistamine the doctor gave you and putting the topical cream to reduce the itchy feeling. Sometimes a cold compress can help reduce the inflammation and burning itch.

PS don't stress the weight loss, it will come give your self some TLC for a while and you'll get there.

Bummer that you are allergic to the surgical glue. I have staples and I am so ready to have them removed. They are creeping me out! LOL
