Sugar Free Pudding Mixins

Recommended Posts

Today wasn't a good day for me and Proteins so tonight I tried something different. I used 1/2 packet of sf banana pudding, 8oz ff milk, 2 oz of cream cheese Greek and 1/2 banana. I mixed it all up in my ninja then topped with whip topping and it was wonderful! I'm on purée but am still getting that yucky feeling after taking about 3-4 tiny bites of anything. Tried cream of asparagus Soup today and it was very good but I couldn't stomach it. Any other suggestions of purée would be great. tuna salad didn't work either

A couple websites that have a lot of info and great recipe ideas for every stage is Bariatric Foodie and World According to Egg Face...these are great sites by bypass patients.

Can you have eggs? My first egg was like tasting heaven lol I also made a Ricotta Bake. I didnt have to pureed foods, I was given a list of foods and if not on that list I could not eat it...im 5 weeks out now and on what they call moist meat stage...I have chicken salad, crock pot chicken, veggie sausage with my egg, turkey thats all I have tried so far. I dont do Soups much unless I add Protein Powder or chicken, I try to get as much Protein in as possible.

Good luck to you, it gets better soon you will be passed all these phases!

Thank you and yes I've done eggs but they didn't sit well so I started making egg custard and I eat it instead. I got that recipe off Bariatric Eating. I am on purée but haven't had much luck so I've been drinking premiere shakes as a supplement Protein as well. Gonna try egg salad today so I'm crossing my fingers that it goes well. Cannot wait until a couple more weeks when I'm able to eat jerky!

Remember if something doesn't sit well try it again in a week or 2....I dont advance again until Dec 23 but at that time I should have no restrictions...woohoo cant wait!

O egg salad maybe I will make some of that haven't had it in years!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
