Blurry vision after this surgery is not uncommon

The after affects of the anesthesia, some pain meds and especially the anti nausea meds.

In particular the anti nausea Patches.

Let your doctor know your concerns though :)

Thanks so much! Yeah I called the doctor and they said the same. I am just super paranoid lol

I am actually kind of glad to see this post, and response from Laura-Ven. I am past it now, but I too had blurred vision for a bit post op. Also some very slight memory issues. As I said all have passed. ( I was sleeved 10/21) But for a while I was really worried. I did have a lot of problems with the anesthesia ( could not wake up) and I had SEVERE nausea. So hearing that both anesthesia and anti nausea meds can cause these issues makes total and complete sense to me. I am glad to know I am not too abnormal!!! LOL

Are you taking Levsin (hyoscyamine). I'm one week out and having blurry vision, too. It's listed as one of the side effects for this med.

I had the same issues with the anesthesia because this was my first surgery ever and I'm just waiting to get passed it all! Thanks so much for responding and letting me know you are over it!

I am not taking any medication for anything so the blurred vision is just from the anesthesia and the Vitamin deficiencies my body is facing. All common and temporary.
