Weight Over 200 Pounds Do U Wanna Check In Daily?

Recommended Posts

Current weight 252 obviously I have more weight to lose. Anyone want to start a private group that will check in daily and not be embarrased to share their struggles and the journey to get below 200?

How are u doing with the holidays? I am not. Doing well. Managing to maintain when I really want to be losing. Will focus again when 2014 gets me back on a normal eating schedule.

Hi I'm 9 days PO, and just wanted to know if there is any support out here. I'm doing it all alone and needed some encouragement. The lbs are falling off as I'd hope or at the rapid weight as must sleevers in the beginning. Any suggestions?

Hello, I had the sleeve done on Dec 18th and I feel great. I started my journey at 373 over a year and a half ago and just couldn't seem to lose the weight. I got down to 339 and then moved. I started therapy and she suggested looking into weight loss surgery. That was in October 2013. I decided to do it. I quit smoking and saw the Dr. At ky 2 week pre-op on Dec 5 I weighed in at 356. I lost 23lbs pre-op and as of today I weighed in at 309. I did almost nothing the first 2 wks but walk about 20 min a day. At my 3 week check up I was cleared to start doing exercises just not any abdominal yet. I have been in the gym 5-6 days a week. I did my new personal best on the treadmill for the mile yesterday of 19:10. Before sirgery it would take me nearly 30 min and I would have to take breaks. I feel fantastic. I also do about 3 miles on the incumbant bike and do weight training as well. I am so excoted to be startong ky new life. I am 44 and wish I had done this years ago. I did not grow up overweight but have been carrying this weight for over 20 years since having 4 children and a horrible accident after my first 2 were born. I have major issues with my leg from the accident so losing this weigjt is a god send for me. I have had no issues this far with neausia or vomiting. I can swallow my Vitamins with no issues and i shoot for 80-100 grams of Protein and get all my Water intake in. I wish all of you out there doing this a safe, happy and life changing journey.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
