Any February 2014 Sleevers?

That pain from coughing can be nasty. That may be what caused my pain in my ribs. I originally thought it was trapped gas. I only worried about a possible clot after the calf pain started. I am not having a terrible recovery, however this is the toughest time I have bad recovering from an operation. This is the third time many of my incisions were used for a laparoscopic procedure and I had so much trouble waking up from anesthesia that its just been harder than I'm used to.

Ok, I just got on and I almost freaked out reading what was going on. Seriously. Thank goodness you are all right. I was scared for you. You better take it easy and get all your fluids and I won't come kick your butt.

Just keep swimming, Dory!

I just went for a walk with hubs, baby, dogs and best friend. I'm hoping she will be following me in this journey so I invited her to walk with us. We walked a mile and I feel great. And since I had to go to the ER I took my Water with me so I am almost at my 64 oz of water. I feel much better now that I have had some rest and a walk.

Yes. We have a gorgeous walking trail/bike path behind my parents house. I love taking Becca for walks there. When I'm feeling better I will be doing that every day! But for now I can't take her on my own.

I had my surgery on Monday 2/10. Everything is going great. I am not in pain and am able to get my liquids down. My only problem is the Vitamins and Calcium. I can't get them down without throwing up. I gave up on the calcium and just try to get one Vitamin in a day. I know these are important but I don't want to throw up. Anyone else have problems?

Since starting my pre-op diet on Friday I've lost 6 lbs! I'm so excited! It's tough at times, especially at work, but I haven't cheated! Just 5 more days of super low calorie diet and 3 days of clear liquid diet then I get my new tiny stomach pouch!

Ahhh. That kinda stinks. Yogurt and pudding have kept me from going crazier. Haha

LindsayHeth I am exactly where you are, but am afraid to weigh myself ! I am afraid no weight loss will discourage me.

So, I am hoping my body is not letting me down.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
