if anyone figures out how to export data from MFP, will you let me know? We want to create a timeseries model using macronutrients as the input variables and weight loss as the criterion. But I haven't figured out how to export the data yet.

I'm very interested in your results! Please do share after you have a trend showing up.

I track mine with charts on myfitnesspal.com along with food, exercise, and Water.

Hi gamergirl, just wanted to say I DID get your message but the system will not allow me to 1) respond to it, or 2) send you a message. I get an error message that says something like, "you are not allowed to use the message system". Anyway, I do want to have a longer "conversation" with you. If you want, please email me one of your regular email addresses so I can draft a proper response later. Briefly, my answer is "yes, you will be able to figure out how to create your own little 'tool' set" and "yes, I will be glad to help you over any hurdles". More to come later... (Email me at bea@amaya.com).

[Total weight lost/(Starting weight - Goal Weight)]*100

[79/(265-175)]*100

(79/90)*100

=88%

Woohoo! I'm almost 10 months out and only 11 pounds until goal weight and normal BMI!

May I share the formula at my 1 year nutrition meeting next week??? I had never heard of EWL and I read the article about the sleeve study and am interested in some of the other articles. My daughter is a doctor, and also had the sleeve. She probably already knows about it, but we have never discussed it. Will have to ask her!! Thanks!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
