Oooo my, does that make me your wife? I'd better not tell my husband :nervous
I told you in the PM that we had better be careful.

My "other" wife knows the combination to the safe where I keep my 38 Magnum.:help:

Cozy Cole heh? You are SUCH a show off!!! I don't even remember the dude (or is she a dudette?)

Never worry about me taking you too seriously... I do not have a serious bone in my body. (Hold the wise-cracks) (oops!)

Laura,

Who yanked your chain. I'm so lucky to have my band. Get off it. I paid cash, had to take it out of savings and that's lucky. You sound like you are the one upset because you don't have a band and really, that's not my problem. You need to deal with you own issues.

Charlene I got 27 pm's and I'm not the only one that thinks your arogant and very noisy.

I have posted about two different issues in one year on here on the rants page and both times you've been a royal witch to me. LEAVE ME THE HELL ALONE. PLEASE.

Yes, I have a band, yes, I've lost 70 pounds but have 30 more to go, yes I have my Masters in Business and yes I'm very happy so LEAVE ME ALONE.

Sunta,

If it's an essay you want with proper grammar, just let me know the title and we'll go for it. This is a forum, not a classroom. God, deal with yourself please.

Ok, the title will be "The Accidental Occurance of Irony In My Previous Post"

Sweetie, you are the one that brought up the band in the first place. What the hell did it have to do with a conversation about Hillary Clinton?

You seem to think that anyone who posts is personally attacking you, when you were the first to attack. Guess what? This is a public message board. Like I said before, you don't get to decide who posts in certain threads.

This is a forum, not a classroom. God, deal with yourself please.
Then why the heck did you bring up education in the first place? You asked us to ask you what your qualifications were. Why get pissed when people actually do ask you?

Nice name change, btw, Mysherrijo.

My Sherrijo...

I don't think I am bothering you. I certainly don't intend to be. I was the one who said I believed your initial statement about Hillary Clinton's potty mouth.

And just so you know....I think there is a LBT rule against posting under multiple identities. Also, we've ALL (that means you, too) been asked by Alexandra not to engage in personal attacks. I believe you might be pushing the envelope.

Well, I've been on here a long time and I hate it when some people get on here who are new, probably couple of months, usually not even banded, and been able to vote maybe 3 of 4 years if they're lucky and act like they know the difference between Dems and Rebuplicans. I won't wast e my time with you. You just LOVE arguments and I just don't have the time. So, when you grow up, learn some things, get banded, give me a yell until then leave me the hell alone. I won't be back to this immature, uninvolved, worthless, uninspring, useless thread.

There, fight with someone else.

Older, Banded, Rebulican and know what I'm talking about.

I am a little worried about your critical thinking ability. I am nearly 60 and am a liberal. I believe that every voter has a say in politics and, yes, political arguments, despite age, socioeconomic status, etc. I also should point out that I have Ph.D. and have been a college professor for 23 years, so I have an inkling of what I'm talking about. I read the news every day. Do you? I think critically about the news. Do you? By the way, what is a Rebulican?

On day 4 of the 2 week liquid pre-op diet. Surgery scheduled for June 11th.
Soooo I am coming to a realization
of something and I'm not sure what to do about it. For years the only thing I've enjoyed is eating. We rarely do anything or go anywhere and if we do it always includes food. Family comes over? Big family dinner! Go camping? Food! Take a short ride or trip? Food! Holiday? Food! Go out of town for a Dr appointment? Food! When we go to a new town we don't look for any attractions, we look for restaurants we haven't been to. Heck, I look forward to getting off work because that means it's almost supper time. Now that I'm drinking these pre-op shakes for breakfast, lunch, and supper I have nothing to look forward to.  And once I have surgery on June 11th it'll be more of the same shakes. Even after pureed stage, soft food stage, and finally regular food stage, it's going to be a drastic change for the rest of my life. I'm giving up the one thing that really brings me joy. Eating. How do you cope with that? What do you do to fill that void? Wow. Now I'm sad.

Life as a big person had limited my life to what I knew I could manage to do each day. That was eat. I hadn't anything else to look forward to. So my eating choices were the best I could dream up. I planned the cooking in managable lots in my head and filled my day with and around it.

Now I have a whole new big, bigger, biggest, best days ever. I am out there with those skinny people doing stuff i could never have dreamt of. Food is now an after thought. It doesn't consume my day. I still enjoy the good home cooked food but I eat smaller portions. I leave food on my plate when I am full. I can no longer hear my mother's voice saying eat it all up, ther are starving children in Africa who would want that!

I still cook for family feasts, I love cooking. I still do holidays but I have changed from the All inclusive drinking and eating everything everyday kind to Self catering accommodation. This gives me the choice of cooking or eating out as I choose. I rarely drink anymore as I usually travel alone now and I feel I need to keep aware of my surroundings.

I don't know at what point my life expanded, was it when I lost 100 pounds? Was it when I left my walking stick at home ? Was it when I said yes to an outing instead of finding an excuse to stay home ? i look back at my last five years and wonder how loosing weight has made such a difference. Be ready to amaze yourself.

BTW, the liquid diet sucks, one more day and you are over the worst. You can do it.

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!
