Surgery in the morning of the 31st, anyone else?

I need to arrive at the hospital at 8 am and I'm feeling a little queasy from nerves. Here's to hoping I am not in the unlucky 1% that have serious issues. Good luck to any other folks getting their surgery today as well!

I arrive at the hospital at 830! I am also queasy, but I think it is from starvation lol.

My pre op diet was a little more lenient as far as eating goes than most of them I think, I could eat one lean and green meal a day and a couple of shakes. But I stopped eating on Monday just to be extra careful. So maybe it is hunger:P

Did it. I was so nervous but it all went by in a blink of an eye. I am having very little pain, what amounts to a dull ache around the incision sites. I Walked from one side of the hospital to the other a couple of times upon waking up and was sent on my way home after a few hour nap. So far so good!

Wonderful news! Congrats. Please don't overdo it. You have just had real surgery. Be kind to yourself and you will heal up in no time. Welcome to the tiny tummy team!

Thanks, I hope yours does too! I just started to try eating some sugar free jello, stomach is a little less happy about it than the chicken broth and unflavored protein powder, but it isn't too bad. Little bit of gurgling and burping and slight stomach pain. I did take two percocets first though:P I drank 16oz of water no problem before I started eating the jello.
