How long after 6 month diet is Surgery usually scheduled?

Hi everyone! I am required to do the Medically Supervised 6 month diet for my insurance (Aetna). I see that doctor on Nov 5th. How Lon after the 6 months is surgery usually scheduled? Do you have to jump through hoops or is it pretty easily scheduled?

Once I fulfilled the 6 months requirement I was schedule the next month...so it's like 7 months, because the NUT has to submit the paper to the insurance company at 6. I knew my date at the 5 month mark though.

Mine was schedule on my last monthly appointment. They accounted for how long it would take to hear back from the insurance and then the two week diet and then when my doctor had an opening. It was about 45 days for my from my last required visit to surgery day.

probably depends on the insurance company and im sure you will get a range of answers. i had my 6th weigh in on sept 21 and saw my surgeon on sept 26 at which time my paperwork was submitted the surgery was approved but the coordinator didnt receive the approval later until nearly a month later. i was scheduled just this last thursday for 11.12.13 good luck
