Yes, I had my VSG in Lewes DE. The program has been terrific, and I have done well. The surgeons and staff have been very supportive. The pre-op 6 month program was mandatory and it was extremely helpful getting mentally, physically and emotionally prepared for surgery. I would do it again in a heartbeat with this group!

My first few months after surgery were pretty tough. The incisions healed well and quickly. But it did take quite a while before I was not vomiting after eating. Had to let "new" stomach have enough time to heal, surgeon said it was really about 6 months before the stomach was "cured". And the insomnia is still with me after 8 months. But none of these problems were fault of the surgeon. Jjust how my body is trying to cope and readjust.
