Just got off the phone with my surgeon's office and I have a date! November 20th! Yeah! I am very happy about it, but George Clooney would be nice as well. At least one of those things will be a reality.

Congrats, I just got the auth from my doc. I got the letter from my insurance saturday and my doc called today so I could go in and sign the consent forms and meet the surgeon.

Thanks all for the support! To tell the truth, I am torn between George Clooney and Hugh Jackman, but since Clooney is from my area, he is the more likely candidate. (By the way, if you had told me at 16 I would think a guy named Hugh or George would be a heartthrob, I would have thought you were nuts.)

And proudgrammy, you are a tease! But I will have my own version of George there. At least my husband looks like George Clooney...in the dark. But my husband is much sweeter and just as handsome to me. I have lost 45 lbs since February, and 36 since June, when I went in for my initial consultation. That is due to MFP and the gym.

I have to say I had a slide back moment last night when I said my final goodbyes and broke up with chocolate stuffed Oreos. But I was still under calorie for the day. And it made me realize how much I need this surgery to help with staying on track. Ironically, I lost another pound this morning when I woke up.
