Death to the carb monster

Recommended Posts

This has been my worst week ever for me, I think this week I have been to laid back and let the carb monster back into my life. I have had a lot of chips, a couple of mini snicker ice cream bars, a couple of iced beers and lots of almonds and cashews. For the last 2 days my meals have consisted of home made steak or chicken Quesadillas with 2% cheese. I have been feeling like every other hour I need to eat something. I try to drink Water and Crystal light or a generic brand to help but no matter what I have done this week I feel like I need more. I didn't loose any weight this week and I was on a good role for quite awhile. I'm just hoping Monday I will be able to get back on track and I have finished eating the Blue Diamond Almonds,Bold, Wasabi & Soy. These things are so good and just slide right through. I know things will get better but if the scales start going up more than a few pounds I will feel like I headed back to my old ways. I just wanted to share my bad week with everyone, since I have had a lot og good progress but not this week.

Thanks for reading .

Hang in there. I've had to fight the carb monster a few times myself. I find that the more sugar carbs I eat, the more I crave them. To break the cravings, I go back to my old Atkins diet and eat boiled eggs, lean pork and chicken breast. Along with good carbs like yellow squash, Beans and brussel sprouts.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
