Somewhere in this thread, a couple of pages back, I think she posted a link. Also, today, she made a thread. Maybe search her profile and click on her 'theads' or do a search for Facebook (that's in the title).

I'm not taking any time off. My job is not strenous or physically demanding. I plan on watching movies all shift with the residents.

My surgery is on Monday (12-16) and I plan to take that whole week off and work just half a day the following Monday. I'll be off Tues & Wed for Christmas. I have a desk job so I'm hoping this is plenty of time!

Hi all!

I WAS APPROVED BY INSURANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! First submission, and it was approved a week later. I called every day! Now just waiting for the hospital scheduler to call and set up my surgery date, and get my pre-op labs taken care of! SO EXCITED TO BE SLEEVED IN 2013!

I'm still not sure of I'm a Nov or Dec sleeve date, but 90% sure Dec. I'm so excited. I've been considering WLS seriously for 8 years! I've tried all I could on my own, and I'm done struggling. It's time to live a new life. Glad to be here, and would love to be added to the Facebook group: lissavsg@gmail.com.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
