Health of the Band

Recommended Posts

i dont know what (or if) complications could arise in the future of my band.. i am not going to worry about it as that doesnt solve anything.......so what i do is keep a close eye on what i do.....what i eat, the size, keep in touch with my dr (monthly) and xray fluro every 3 months to make sure its all okay.....i am mindful of what the dr told me and i am going to do my best to adhere....i intend to have it for the rest of my life...(esp since it gave me my life back...i am forever grateful to the band and my dr and my ole man)

if anything goes wrong, i will cross that path when i get there..

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
