Question about friends list

When I go to my profile it only shows 12 friends. It has always shown 12 friends once I got at least 12. I look at other peoples profiles and they show no more than 12 friends also. I know some of these people have way more than 12 friends on here. Is it some limitation that only I see or does this happen for other people too? Why don't all of the friends show up?

This issue should be resolved once we upgrade our site. We hope to have it completed over the next few days.
