Whey protein shots

Recommended Posts

I was told by the nut to get whey isolate Protein. She said It has to have 20g of Protein per 100 calories. I figured the shots were whey protein since it is called New Whey. It's all new to me. As far as trying new Proteins I haven't as much as I should. I'm waiting to free up some cash to order the unjury brand. Seems that's the most recommended on the boards. I'm scared ' date=' nervous, and honestly have no idea how to psyche myself out for two weeks lol. I know I can do it.[/quote']

I just started my 2 week pre op, Unjury is very good but yes costly...at Walmart look for body fortress vanilla cream good price, GNC has a line called Total Lean they always have some deal going on and lots of flavors, Premier Protein is a good one and can be found at Sams Club costco and some walmarts that a ready to drink and comes in chocolate or vanilla just few ideas...good luck

Thanks guys! My mom got me a bag of muscle tech 100%whey Protein isolate powder in chocolate. It has 30grams of protien per scoop. It's pretty good. Just needs to be super super cold. Day 3 of this liquid diet seems like I've been on it longer lol. Hardest thing I did today was go to the grocery store to get food for my son. Hard to cook for other people and not eat or taste any of it yourself.

Being mom is tough thru this process but you will be able to eat and taste again soon, make this part of your family lifestyle once you do, search for recipes and foods that you and your son will like so you dont feel deprived and he will learn healthy habits also and maybe avoid being overweight himself one day :)

That's my goal! He is such a picky eater. It frustrates me sometimes that he won't even taste something because of the way it looks. He doesn't even like ice cream that isn't chocolate or vanilla!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
