Anyone deal with Anthem BC California?

I can't find much about anyone's dealing with this insurance company in reference to GBS and I am just trying to prepare myself for their response.

270 pounds

Diagnosed as morbidly obese (rough to swallow)

BMI - 39

Comorbidities: Chronic hypertension, left knee failing

BCBS have covered my first surgeon appointment (good sign right)

Most of my required testing will be done in the next few weeks.

Any advice?

    I assume your surgeon's office phoned Anthem to verify benefits. Have you called them to check for yourself?
