Hope you find someone close to you stage in the WLS process. I started a few months ahead of you at Rollers also. January 3 this year. I have surgery scheduled next Wednesday. Dr. Kwon will be my surgeon.

Hello! I am sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you. I had a little insurance issue so i got discouraged and decided to quit the program. However I am back now. My husbands job switched insurance companies and I thru my pre-existing phase, yes, being overweight is considered pre-existing. The new insurance doesn't require a 6 month diet or pscyh eval. I already had the pscyh eval though. I just have to be over 18, bmi over 40, and do it thru a bariatric center of excellence. I feel very fortunate that i do not have to jump thru a bunch of hoops. I just have to do the EGD and lab work. When is your surgery date? I hope you are still on here.
