Tried milk of magnesia last night to get things moving after not going all day. I'll be fool if I am going to deal with all this pain AND be constipated. Almost made myself puke. It was close. But after an hour or so I felt much much better. Seems the tears phase is upon me. Crying for no reason. Fun times.

Yes me too I keep crying for the littlest things. I haven't had w bowel movement neither, did yoyr doctor recommend milk of magnesia? I hope you feel better as well.

Hi how are you feeling? I am walking but I am suffering from gas and pain. How are you handling the Water.< /p>

I had complication of low hematocrit so instead of going home in 48 hours I had to stay till 3 days. They gave me a unit of blood. It took until 10 pm so I got home Friday 230 pm. I feel worse at home than in the hospital. Probably because dog and wife expect me to pick right up.

Yeah, they recommended milk of magnesia. But it was tough with this little pouch to get it all in. Probably what made me sick. I think I will try taking some Probiotics along with my Vitamins. Can't have yogurt for another 3 weeks.

Hi everyone' date=' I'm still in hospital. I just could not drink and my pain was unbearable. My doctor ordered a cat scan and within a hour I was back in operating room. There was a slight blockage on my intestine, 3hr surgery in top of Tuesday's surgery and yall know I am in crippling pain here. I can't do anything without assistance. I can't stop crying, what did I do to myself! Now they said if I can do all the things necessary I can go home Monday.[/quote']

I'm so sorry to hear this! I hope you r feeling better! This surgery can take a lot out of u and make you question why you did it. But in all reality you know why you did. So you've got to push/pray through the pain because you will get a little better each day! I consider myself a work n progress! Keep us posted!

I had my surgery August 27, 2013, and I'm still in the hospital!!!! I now had a total of 3 surgeries and the last one left me with 2 drainage tubes in my stomach and barely able to walk. The pain I have experienced is unbearable and my body underwent a battle that I was not expecting. I do truly pray of you are much better and I eventually catchup. ..

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
