Hi all! Can't beleive I'm less than a week away from surgery. I'm 38 and know that I'm doing the right thing but am still pretty nervous about the surgery. I can't seem to wrap my mind around the fact that I won't be hungry. Just a very strange notion for me
I've got a really busy life so I don't think I will miss all the food very much. I've got a supportive husband and two wonderful kids ages 8 & 18. I just completed my masters degree and am glad that I get the chance to address my long standing weight issue. I want to be seen for the smart and confident person that I am inside - not the fat & lazy person people perceive from my appearance. I'm all ready for my surgery but have an issue I'm some of you non-newbies can help me with. I'm going on vacation about a week after surgery and won't be able to eat with my family. Any tips on how to handle going to dinner and not eating?
