Hallelujah! I've finally made it out if my stall and have been losing again. 6 lbs to wonderland!

Congrats! Me too! I have been stalled for OVER a month at the same weight and finally lost 3 lbs over the last 3 days! I think I was underestimating my intake and not getting enough calories. On Thursday I decided to not count calories for a week and just "eat mindfully". That's what I've been doing and to my surprise, I've lost a pound a day! Lol I'm so happy, but a little nervous that this is just a tease. Haha

Happy Sunday Junies ...... i have added fish oil to my Vitamin supplements at a friends recommendation.

It helps the heart, brain & skin. And while my heart & brain are strong and solid , my skin is.....? awesome!

give it a try it actually makes a difference.

I still have a long list of things I cannot eat. Most things that make me dump make no sense..such as guacamole. I don't get it. Don't get me wrong....I'm grateful I dump...at least after the episode passes.

Great advice!

SD: 6/10/13 HW 305/SW 259/CW 199.8/GW 150 <br />Sent from my SCH-I605 using RNYTalk

My Dr told me basically the same thing. He said that any and every irritation needs to be documented Mt the Dr in order to get the insurance to approve the removal. I still have a way to go before I have issues. Seems like I've come so far until I realize how much more to go.

Guacamole is high in fat. My doctor told me high fat food can cause dumping too.

Oh no?! Guacamole?? That really stinks. Maybe it's the fat in the avocado. :/ yeah, I'm grateful my body doesn't do THAT to me. Lol do meats get to you?

Here's to a new week! Last week was probably my worst week since surgery. Monday I had to go in for a gyn procedure, hysterscopy, d&c, and placement of an IUD. It was all supposed to be done under deep sedation, but due to some problems, they had to put me all the way under and intubate me. It really took a lot out of me - my throat was so sore I couldn't talk for two days. To make matters worse, last Monday I was up a pound and a half - and it took all week for it to drop back down. This weekend the scale has been moving, I am back at the Y, and I feel like I am back on track. Looking forward to a new week!

More good news is that the pathology report was normal!!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
