I am so nauseated all of sudden. Over only had my Protein Shake so far today. I took a New sub lingual b-12 pill. I'm wondering now if that may be the culprit. Any one else have problems with b-12 quick dissolve sub lingual pills

No issues with B12. The only thing that makes me really nauseous is if I take my Calcium on an empty stomach. Ugh. That's the worst.

Just left my dr office. I'm down 75 lbs since surgery. 75 pounds of fat I never ever have to lug around again in my life! I'm in total disbelief...I'm actually doing this right!

Been back at work (teach kindergarten) for 2 days. Have to say I am so glad I had 6 weeks of summer to recoup. The chaos and craziness that is the first week of school coupled with having to rush lunch while having a meeting and setting up class etc. has me stressed and unable to calm down enough to eat. Thank heaven for Protein Drinks and the fact that unlike most people I actually like them :-)

Oh well things should calm down by the end of the month and the weight is coming off so I have more energy.

Alert: little victory....

not sure this is an actual victory or more of a happy observation? last night was hijacked by three friends and we had a good old fashion midnight cruise. made a pilgrimage to the Llanderch Diner. This local diner in 2012 became a semi famous spot to go in Delco when they filmed a large scene in it from the movie " Silver Linings Playbook" well for years i could not fit into a booth. but last night i fit with room to spare. ahh a return to a normal existance is a welcome relief......had an awesome time.

Just walked in at 430 on a Saturday afternoon to find no one has posted today.

This is a good indicator that all of us are out enjoying life :-)

i myself just popped in to change, take my Vitamins and hydrate then head out to a local irish pub to see my buddys band tonight.

Who else is with me....LIFE IS AWESOME AND GETTING BETTER EACH AND EVERYDAY...can i get an Amen!

Amen to that!

Today my yearbook staff and I hosted a fundraising car wash and for 5 straight hours I was up walking around and scrubbing cars. This never could have happened before surgery. I would have been sitting down not participating and watching my students do the work.

Ps. I got a fitbit and I love it (especially on a day like today getting to see how much I've done).

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
