Yeah..I went a week with only losing a pound. My nurse program manager told me it happens to a lot of people..still hard not to jump on the scale all the time. I refuse to freak out :)

If anyone is having problems with Protein Shakes, I use Unjury brand mixed with dairy free unsweetened coconut milk and I have had no problems. I didn't drink dairy milk before so I was scared to start now. I am also going to try with almond milk.

Having a not so great day. Had surgery May 31st. Lost 22 lbs and 5inches at my appointment last week. I should feel great' date=' but I am getting so stressed. I haven't lost one pound since June 14th. I had some complications following surgery and ended up with a blood clot to my lung. Feeling better from that now, but am still told to take it easy and doing only 20 minutes walking with 15 minutes of weights every other day...very week most days by the time I get home from work. My husband is very supportive but if I hear "oh, you will be alright" one more time I think I will throw up! I am trying to stay off the scales but at times I am almost obsessed with that number needing to drop on the scales. Ok..enough venting for now.[/quote']

Your surgeon didn't put you on blood thinners after surgery, on Lovonax? Because I had a blood clot before, I had an IVC Filter placed in before surgery. I hope you feel better and do away with the scale.< /p>

Yes. I was on blood thinners in the hospital and when I went home. No history of blood clots. Docs said it just happens in 1-2% of all cases. Guess I should buy a lotto ticket if I am that lucky ..lol

Head hunger monster paid me an unwelcomed visit. I kept feeling hungry, like it was real, so I would have a very small snack. I ended up grazing all day, and it kind of upset me. I just needed to get that off my chest.

Oh no!! That's terrible. Why won't he fix for 2 weeks? Isn't that painful? That's crazy! I hope you start feeling better soon. :'(

I am down 36 pounds. Surgery May 28. Saw surgeon today for 1 month follow up. He was pleased with progress. Told me to take naseous medication if food makes me ill. I actually had forgotten I had that medication! Told me to keep working on getting Protein in. Nutrition told me nothing is off limits, except sweets, fried foods, etc. that I can try anything and need to be getting 800 calories in every day. I am at about 400/day. So today is a good day.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
