Your stats are similar to mine. I am pre-surgery (April 17 date) with many concerns.

I am about to post some concerns as other topics. Since you started at similar stats to me, maybe you can find my other topic and respond? It will be about pre-op weight loss. Part of my dilemma in this now is that my pre-op weight loss is amazingly fast (and actually now that I have looked at some people's stats POST surgery, appears to be faster). I am a yo-yo-er

My pre-op they wanted me to lose about 20 lbs And I did my fitness pal and lost 10lbs in. 3 month.

Average weight loss is 10lbs a month! You may lose more or less!

I recommended that you

"DO NOT" "WEIGHT YOURSELF DAILY" if u read some post they drive themselves crazy!!! You hit PLATEAUS!! When that happens you may start seeing inches come off!! Any other questions please ask.

I will be thrilled to reach 150, no less 140. GOOD FOR YOU in your journey. It feels amazing to wear size 8 & 10!!

My surgery is in 4 days..... I will break 200 before then!!! I am not really struggling to stay on this track (re: pre surgery eating & weight loss) to be honest. I just know myself and know that my pattern cycles and in a year from now, without RNY, I could easily be 240.

I'm not really in a rush to lose weight after RNY. My interest is being healthier! I'm praying this will help my diabetes and I am through with sugar and carbs.

OK so here's a biology question....

You said your goal was a 7 but you ended up a 2.... was that by choice or did you just keep losing weight? How does your body then know to stop at sz 2 and not end up at sz 0 or less?

I have actually been worried that I will have a hard time not staying at a size. I do not ever want to fall below a sz 6 for example.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
