Just got home from having six injections in my back. Dr.is doing medial nerve block testing. Hoping to have radiofrequency ablasion' date=' which burns the nerves in my back that cause the pain. Have had it before and they are going to give it another try to try to keep me comfortable until is see the spine surgeon in June. Am gonna sleep the day away today. :( on a good note, I was 280 today which is 23 down from surgery date, April22.[/quote']

Poor thing! I hope they are able to get you some sort of relief until a more permanent solution is found!

Thanks Terry. Been dealing with this for years, and it is just getting so much worse. See the spine surgeon in June so we will see.

Hey guys, I had my surgery on April 2nd! I'm down 35lbs, but I have hit a stall point and have stayed at the same weight for almost 2 weeks now. I'm trying to increase my Protein and change my exercise habits. But, it's discouraging!

I am going on 4 wks post op. I don't know if anyone else has experienced this but I have a horrible attitude. I feel depressed unmotivated and well life just sucks attitude. I have 2 wonderful boys and a great husband. So much to be great full for but I miss food. Nothing is satisfying me and I feel like an outcast when it's time to eat with the family. Maybe I should see me physiologist? I don't know. Is it withdraws?

Surgery date 4/18/13 @ 7:30 am SW 316 CW 291 GW 150

I'm in the same spot you are. My guess is it's part of the grieving process for losing our close friend, food. The psychologist can help you work through it. I don't feel much like eating or working out at all. I'm just laying around the house and sleeping a lot feeling sorry for myself.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
