So I'm one week post op and I really haven't had a bowel movement. I sat on the toilet on Monday but nothing really (sorry for the TMI). So my question is has anyone else had this issue. I figured that I didn't really have to go because I've been only drinking liquids....

I'm still on liquids and I had the same problem. I finally went a few days ago (I'm 11 days post op). the smell was god awful, too--nothing like a normal BM.

For those of you who are on soft foods, how much are you able to eat at once. I can't really tell when I'm full. I've been able to eat about half a cup of food at each sitting.

I wasn't given limits other than a sample menu. Each meal on true sample menu is 4-5oz.

I was told to take 30mins to an hour to eat... I'm just wondering if I'm eating too much...

I was told 30-1 hour. Also, your pouch will mature over time to 4-8 oz. I would think that whatever you can eat *in moderation* is fine. I don't know, you might consult your nut though.

Just had my surgery 3 days ago & today's my first day home. I feel like crap. I'm nauseous & everything tastes gross - even Water. To say I'm regretting this would be an understatement.

It gets better. You were just cut open and had your insides changed and rearranged. I was sure I'd screwed up my life completely until about day 8. Oh, and I cried a LOT. You might add some kind of flavor to your water...like Mio.

And even though I knew my chances during the first few weeks of having "buyers remorse" were really high, like 100%, it didn't make it any better when it happened.

Does anyone else have issues with eggs? It's THE ONLY thing that's given me any issues. Well, a few of my Protein Shakes have made me nauseous...but the egg. I felt like I was going to die and it was soft scrambled? I don't even have issues with milk. Or fatty cheese. Just eggs.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
