They gave me this weird bottle of soap to use.

I am afraid to use it' date=' I have very sensitive skin and I know it's going to make me break out. They want me to use it the night before and the morning of surgery.

Ugh.

And thanks for the tip MaryMitchell .. That sounds good. They said the time isn't official and they will call the day before to tell me. I HOPE it gets changed![/quote']

What is it called

Don't use the soap in "special" areas ;-) it will not be a very comfortable situation for you if you already have sensitive skin :-)

LOL.. Yea, they kept telling me no private areas.

They told me to mainly focus on the area of surgery.

Its a antiseptic soap.

They gave me a cleanser to use. Told me to try it on my arm that day and if I was sensitive to it to buy a bar of dial soap and use that instead.

Woo hoo I made it! Doing really well, been walking aNd the meds are doing their job. Wasn't really too nervous beforehand, which surprised me because I had never had surgery before and tend to be a worrier anyways. I think that the past eight months of worrying and researching and educating myself lead me into today with a clear head mowing that I had made the right decision. I'm probably rambling. I wish Kathy, olive reindeer, and chatman who all had surgery today the best. How are you guys doting?

...knowing not mowing...autocorrect.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
