I try to give blood as often as the allow and just got an e-mail for the next blood drive at work. I will be about 10 weeks post-op and am wondering if I can do it by that point. Has anyone else done this?

I was told by my doctor we can never give blood again. I don't know why though.

You can, but if there are vitamin and mineral deficiencies, they won't take your blood. Rny surgery patients run a high risk of developing iron deficiency, etc. If you aren't deficient in anything just yet, then go for it!
