I can only have 4 Optifast shakes & one Soup daily. And Water... Lots and lots of water! I can also have crystal light mixes in my water' date=' but I'm not a big fan, so for now just Water. I have already stArted chewable Vitamins... So those are the only solids that I have eaten.[/quote']

Oh wow, that makes it tough. The bars added a little substance for me. I would be doing a lot of sleeping. I hope & pray it gets better for you each day!

U should try the crystal light PURE lemonade. It's really good way better than the regular crystal light. I have also made their mixed berry. My kiss even drink it....

I start my fast tomorrow and I have the butternut squash Soup, sugar free Jello, the broth and Protein Shakes as well as light juices. I got sugar free apple sauce too. Wasn't really sure if that will work but will have it on day one. Any other suggestions ward off the itch to eat. Oh the gum sounds like a good idea.

Thanks.

My surgery scheduled for the 17th of this month.

Ha! That's exactly what I have been long, NikiG! In order to avoid nighttime cravings, I've been going to bed ridiculously early!

I have lost 7 lbs in 2 days on this LRD, but I feel really week and nauseous. I am able to eat 3-4 oz of lean Protein and 1 cup of non-starchy veggies at night for the first week of the 2. Then only shakes. Ugh! I have always had a problem with liquids on an empty stomach.

The weight loss is pretty incredible. I dropped 7pounds in be first 3 days. I'm using that as motivation to keep going. Big challenge this morning... Making eggs, bacon, and a biscuit for my son and not eating any myself. I survived it, though. I mentioned earlier weekends are going to be tough for me. Keep going. Just think, by surgery we'll probably be 20 pounds lighter. That much less to loose afterwards!

GM went to bed very late thinking about this day. Woke up early still thinking about this day. So I decided to get up and start getting things together around the house.

Drinking Water for now and trying to decide what to have for Breakfast on this first day.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
