How big were you at your highest if you don't mind my asking. My dr says I'm loosing too slow and I'm kinda stuck. I'm a little over 4 months out and have lost about 65 pounds. I've been fluctuating. I've also been working out and eating right. I'm just kind o depressed right now.

How big were you at your highest if you don't mind my asking. My dr says I'm loosing too slow and I'm kinda stuck. I'm a little over 4 months out and have lost about 65 pounds. I've been fluctuating. I've also been working out and eating right. I'm just kind o depressed right now.

That pic was 2 and 1/2 yrs ago. I was about 274. I'm 5 1/2 months out from my pre surgical weight of 237. Now I'm at 83# down. I'm currently 154. 26 lbs to go if I want my original goal of 130. But I think I'll be good at 140 or between the two.

I stall and working my butt off at the gym breaks the stall. I will hop on the treadmill for at least half an hour between 4.2 and 4.5 mph. I'll do weights there if I have time. Sometimes I do Mari Windsors Buns and thighs Pilates!!!!! love Pilates.

I had a month stall where I went up and down a pound that month. I think the stalls are just allowing our bodies to bounce back and recover from the weight loss. Don't let not losing get to you. I did at first but it is a stress that I didn't need in my life so I let it go. I thought I was a slow loser. I wished I would have recorded the weight lose each month. But I know the first month I lost 20. At 3 months I believe I was 54 down. So I don't think 65 at 4 is too off track from many of us. I hope that helps.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
