Wow... you looked great beforehand. I'm 300lbs and its kind of strange to see someone with a before picture that's 70lbs lighter than me. Did insurance pay for you? You just look healthy beforehand... It's startling is all. And congratulations on your progress. You look wonderful.

I'm really irritable. I just want to eat that piece of cheese, I want test the noodles that I'm boiling to check for doneness. It's these things that are getting to me. Yesterday was hard, especially since for whatever reason the deadbeats that make up my husbands extended family decided they were not going to help gramma in the kitchen, leaving me to carve the turkey and slice the ham. I'm finally seeing a change in the scale, but am sad about the cost right now. I know its temporary, its just frustrating. Other than that, physically I feel great. Not gtg 64ozs but am close to 40ozs and gtg 60gms of Protein in.

Very excited, thank you. I can't wait to get back in the gym. I used to be so active before I let myself go. Obviously, it's a lot harder when you're heavy. Either way, I'm ready!

Hi! Yes, insurance paid for me. I was 100ls overweight. I'm 5ft 2in.... I was pretty healthy as to the more serious co-morbidities, but was depressed, anxiety issues, high cholesterol.. No worries, you'll get there as well :-)

Ah, okay. Sorry to ask you to basically justify the surgery - I didn't mean to do that at all. None of us should have to do that. We know what we struggle with and how much harder every day is. You just look amazing and I am so happy for you :)

That is amazing! Look forward to being 150 in 5 months!!! Im so excited for you! My only advice is be patient with urself, follow the diet, drink lota of Water, really take advantage of those forst weeks where u cant eat to lose most weight... Bc when u start to hit 4 months, u are almost on ur own... U need to make healthier decisions...

The first couple of weeks are tough. But they will go by very fast!!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
