My nut wants my calories to be at 1200 at the 6 month mark. I barely get 700 in. I have very little appetite and food isn't too appealing. Plus I've stalled for the last week.

Stalling is normal but if you don't try harder to get the calories and thinking this early out going back to liquids is going to help your wrong. Not only is this so unhealthy and you can get really malnutritioned but you are putting your body into starvation mode in which you hold onto weight not losing it.

My nut warned against going back to liquids. I'm trying to eat more calorically dense foods to get my calories up, not trying to eat less.

It's been a while since I posted. I had surgery 11/28/12 and am down 44.5 pounds and can eat almost anything its just tiny amounts and still having to learn to chew slower. I am starting back up with the gym tonight I slacked off for like a month but otherwise loving the new me. Just gotta tighten up a little. I am very happy with my decision.

My nut told me to increase my calories to 1000-1200 but then the doctor did a metabolism test on me and said I wasn't able to burn enough calories for that do he sent me back to liquids. I'm very confused by the whole thing I don't know which one I should listen to.

Anyone else hungry? It's actually waking me up! This is really hunger. I feel like like until I eat. WTH? I thought I'd get a few months without hunger.

As far as the calories are concerned, I'd do what the dr/nut says but there are calories in liquids too. How many are you getting now? I'm confused too.

Worm yes I'm hungry but I'm just drinking drink drinking. My fluids at 64 plus. Been drinking a bunch of hot tea Decaf with Splenda. I went back to the clear liquid diet stage on my dr advise so my calories are under 50 a day except for the other day I slipped and had a couple bites of food and had a hundred some. Today will be day 5 so tomorrow I will move on to full and add in my Protein Shakes. If you are hungry at night try drinking another shake before bed it will boost your Protein make you fill full through the night and it also prolly would give you like 200 more calories with skim milk.

50 calories a day? Did you mean that? Oh my. Hugs!!

And I may add another shake. At least I'm not the only one hungry.

Worm, do you have a Wii? If you do, look for Fit Six at GameStop (I paid 4 dollars). It has a ton of different workouts that you can combine to personalize. I'm addicted to kickboxing but it also has cardio, Pilates, cardio dance, Latin dance, core conditioning and weights. I know you said it's hard to find time to exercise, but none of the programs are more than 15 minutes so you can tailor them to the time you have. My goal is an hour but right now I do 35 minutes of kickboxing and about 10 of stretching which is built into the program. I'm still stalled but I feel so much better now that I've done this for a few days.

Ill have to check out Wii. I've been meaning too. Thanks

I've been feeling like crap at night too. I'm thinking over doing it at dinner. Not the amount do much but dinner is my main meal and not a shake or lunch meat and cheese or garden burger type thing. Maybe look at your good log???

Anybody get lightheaded? This just started a week ago. Usually happens once a day at least. Thought it was no big deal at first but now that it keeps happening I am curious as to why.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
