Congrats, Lola. Welcome to the December group! Prayers for the Monday group, mom lambert. We will be waiting to hear. I will be in your shoes this time next weekend. liquid diet is really tough. Not really hungry just want something to chew. Can't have gum. Ugh. Can't wait to get this behind me.

Thanks, Mi2--prayers are appreciated. It's exciting but nerve-wracking at the same time. Good luck on the liquid diet--it is really tough, no doubt. Then two more weeks after surgery--ugh. I'm hoping I won't be as hungry then. But, like you, I just want to CHEW! My chewable Calcium Vitamins, and Fiber do help with that a little bit. But I want a pretzel, or chips, or crackers--whatever that would crunch and be satisfying. Oh well, I hope it is worth it--I have to believe it will be. I'm a little gun shy since the LapBand didn't work like I had hoped.

Congrats, Beans. Yup--so quick, but not quick enough. Good luck!

Tonight has been the first night that I felt hunger. But it wasn't really bad and it passed. My worst pain is where they took out my port from my band. The others don't hurt that much.

Anyone that has had.surgery have a hard time urinating? I haven't gone since they took the cathedra out at 5am it's now 8:15pm I can feel my bladder is full but it just won't come out..

Jessica i had the same thing. They told me it was probably a combo of the anesthesia and the catheder out. It seems ok for me now . I had surgery on wed and now on sat morn it actually feels normal. W

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
