Oh Optifast, What Are You Doing To My Intestines?

gross topic. I'm on week 2 of my preop optifast diet, and all of a sudden, now that my body has switched to fat burning mode, I have a lot of oral gas, and a very very noisy stomach which, when I can get anything to come out, is coming out literally liquid. I have started putting benefibre into my shakes/dinner which will hopefully help but this noise in my insides is insane! it even woke me up last night it was so loud. Has anyone else experienced this preop?

lol totally lesson learnt! I've been putting extra benefiber into my shakes and meals... well since last night at least, and it seems to have helped a little bit. still SO much gas though!
