2 Days Post-Op, Sipping Water?

I am so happy to be at home. I am trying to keep sipping my water, but it just keeps giving me gurgley tummy and gas pain. I get up and walk, and usually burp and I am ok. Then I get settled back down, start sipping and the cycle starts again. Is this normal?

I had this too. I found I could do better with ice chips instead of plain water. Also crystal light and vitamin water zero went down better then plain water too for some odd reason. Hang in there!

I am17 days post op and still have trouble getting in a liter and a half of water a day. I find it eaiser to drink tea, but I try to stick to caffine free

tea. Warm just seems to go down easies.

Thanks you guys. That makes me feel better! I will try sippin Crystal Light today and maybe some ice chips.

I had this same question at least I know it's normal. It feels so weird

I still have the gurgling! It's so annoying! I found I gurgle more when I lay down. It's a joke now when me and hubby are laying down.... How long will it last? Lol
