I have tricare south and didnt have to do the 6 or 3 month diet. I had my surgeon appt August 23rd and they sent my paperwork to tricare on the 24th and was approved on the 28th. The only thing I had to do was the cardiologist clearance and my psych clearance but that was my drs requirement. I had heard that the tricare south region was alot easier to get approval.
