10/17 was my surgery and my drain is 90% clear. Walking about every hour getting ready for some clear liquids. It's getting easier and easier! Best decision ever!

10/17 - 244#

Great to know lilmickey78, continue that walking, and keep us posted! I agree so far as well, BEST DECISION EVER! :)

Hey Finerwoman, NO PAIN, HOW COOL. Well I'm having some if I'm up on my feet too long, like cooking in the kitchen. Yesterday I was and it seemed as if the right side of my stomach was going to drop out, then the pain came. I went about 6 hrs with no pain meds but after that I quickly had to take it. I know it will get better so I'm taking it slow and I guess I need to make sure I'm not doing too much. O I got to check out some of your videos, I like but I will have to finish them today.

Have a good day!

Yes my date is October 29th & even though I've been on this journey for a while. It seem so surreal because its finally about to happen. I don't know why I'm getting a little nervous though is this normal for anyone else?

Hey it's normal to get nervous, I sure did. The closer it got the more nervous I became, but once I got their and was in the process I calmed down after waiting so long to go into surgery, so it gets better. Pray about though. So glad that you have a date though. Just stay posted here because there are plenty of support. Good day!

I know how you feel! I was sick until two days before but I was fine for surgery. Good luck and remember if you do have to move it, it will be for the best.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
