October Surgery Dates

Recommended Posts

LOL! I was asked the same question. I chose 175 because I remember I weighed 181 in the 8th grade and wanted to be less than that. Right now I'm 5'7 and 394. Highest ever was 402...I about passed out :(. So 175 sounds like a dream! I also find myself looking at 'regular sized' clothes. It's exciting to think about!

Congratulations on 8 lbs down!!! I sure would like to say I'm 8 down from my highest. I was 306 or 307 initial consult and 311 last Monday. I said to someone else, I'm addicted to the Women's Fashion on Pinterest!!

I am 5' tall so my goal weight is 120. I can't wait to bend over w/o struggling to breathe, run, shop in the juniors sections (or hell anything but plus), wear a tankini, wear a cute dress with boots, not be stared at, not to sweat profusiouly, to come off of my meds and CPAP.....and many many more things....lol!

Oooh good question!! I want to wear a belt!!! Not an elastic back, about to bust off and kill somebody belt, but a cute, small, brown leather belt with khaki shorts and a white top!! I want to wear something and think it's delicate rather than wearing something with wide straps!!

Hahah!! I was thinking the same thing!! No elastic anything! I want to be comfortable and be able to SEE my belt. I'm to self conscious to tuck in my shirt anymore. I am 5'1 and want to be around 130. I remember being on weight watchers in 2000- I got down to 145 an was happy with that but why not give myself a few extra pounds for a goal! We went to the beach then and i actually wasnt embarrassed to wear a suit.

I would love to wear a simple tshirt and cute jeans with a belt with no belly or huge muffin top. I know I need to exercise exercise exercise!! I can't wait just to feel better!! Can't stand that im out of breathe by walking up And down a few stairs. My list could go on and on and on... Im ready for the challenge!!

I want to be able to wear any top and not worry about it being long enough to cover my belly apron. And I want to be a size in which I can go to any store in the mall and find something to wear. That would simply be amazing!!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
