Morning everyone

Well, my surgery's been moved back a week because the surgeon had a schedule conflict. Now, I'm September 25th, with you Rachel! At least it's still Sept. I've come to like our group. I hope everyone is doing well.

weeeeeeeee a surgery sister.

Unfortunately I am in atrial fib again although I am ignoring it and am at work. I think the new medicine is helping as I don't feel as bad as I usually do. No head ache or dizziness or shortness of breath. I have to reobtain my cardiac clearance and he surely won't clear me if I am in fib.

so once I convert back to sinus rhythm I will make my appointment. This really has to stop.

Hi everyone! I'm having my surgery September 10. I started my journey in August 2011. I completed all of my requirements in April 2012 and my insurance denied me in June 2012 because the hospital my doctor used was not recognized as a Center of Excellence by Cigna even though it was by other insurances. So' date=' I started over with a new doctor in June 2012 and got my approval last week on the first submission. I actually am really happy I had to switch doctors as I LOVE my new doctor and the hospital I'll be at in San Diego is much better than my local one. Four more weeks! September's going to be a new beginning for many of us!![/quote']

Yay!!! I am having mine sept. 10th also in Dallas,Tx.... Getting soo excited.. I am teyong

I see some talk about vitamins....my Dr told me even Flintstone chewable would work fine. But I had my appoint with bariatric resources and they gave me some samples(which tasted ok for vitamins) but each Vitamin was a different will. They only had on multi vitamin in the whole pack....what have you guys seen or heard??

I would post this under the questions area or as a new thread as most of us are pre op and don't have the knowledge to share you. I did buy some Vitamins from Unjury to get the free shipping lol have not started them yet though.

TGIF I made it to work all week even though I was discharged from hospital on Monday and just got out of my wheel chair and took my suitcase with me to my office and worked all day and had a smaller different bout of my AFib weds night and went to work. Thank goodness this time with the new meds I did not have the dizziness or head ache I usually have so I could drive. Just felt irregularity in my heart and a bit fluttery. I converted after lunch and have been ok since.....knock on wood NOW!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
