Try Isopure. Its a protien Water with 40g of protien per 20oz serving. I was rejecting everything but this. I add hawaiian punch powder to mine. I buy the fruit punch flavor and with the powder it tastes good.

I'm going to try this, Isopure is the only thing that works for me also, I'm going to start putting in Hawaiian punch powder cause I definitely hate the chalk after taste lol.... Thanks for the idea

Hey Tank! So glad it went well. Mine was horrid. I woke having stomic and back spasms (idk why, I think its how they love me around on the table?) They lasted for 7 hours ...I had dry heaves for 5 hours which only made the cramps worse. I was a big baby about it because my pre-op endiscope was a breeze! I had no reason to think other ways.......

I was told I was under 5cm? At my stoma and will need a few more dilations every week. They could not go past 10 cm (or mm?) Or they risked breaking sutures. (can't spell) ...does any of this sound right? I was still drugged up. They told my friend the dialted me 5cm (mm?) .....my crying from the spasms distracted us both.

I'm trying to make sense of it. I don't want to do this again. I'm not talking a small don't I mean hell no; do I wanna wake up like that again. It was painful. I feel like I got hit by a truck today. I was dhydrated too so I've not eaten I'm just trying to get fluids in today.

I know I've gotta stand up to them and ask for some kind of help if I wake like that... I needed help for 7 hours after. I couldn't move or I got spasms or was heaving. I'm still horrified but when that passes to Pissed off I'm calling the surgen Monday and venting.......

How many times will you need to do it?

I know I'm whinning, yesterday sucked ass.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
